You may encounter an error on how to disable Windows Live Messenger in Windows 7. There are several ways to fix this problem, which we will cover shortly. How do I disable Windows Live Messenger?
Disable Windows Live Messenger. Click the Start menu, click Control Panel, then double-click Add Programs to Remove. In the Add more programs to uninstall window, click Add/Remove Windows Features. In the list of features, enable Windows Live Messenger to disable it. Click Next, then Finish.
It’s been annoying me lately that my Windows Live Messenger is showing up internationally because I don’t want to signal every time I step on my laptop…so I found it shockingA nice way to, for example, disable/enable the element action and thought I’d probably share it with my Instructables community!

Antagonizer provided the correct way to remove autoload in another way. He said:
1. Transfer to Windows Messenger

4. Uncheck each of our boxes next to “Windows automatically starts Live Messenger when I sign in to Windows.”

…But for some strange reason, this won’t help me. This shouldn’t work for you… use my method. only 1::)

Open Startup Food, search for (or type) Windows Live Mail. Right-click Windows Live Mail and select Uninstall. In the Uninstall or change a program list, select Windows Live Essentials, and then click Uninstall/Change. Click Remove one or more Windows Live programs.
Now go to the user’s start menuDeveloper and select “Control Panel”
Step 3. Edit The Launcher
Now bite “Change boot programs”
Step 7: Program Explorer
This will now merge the “Software Explorer”.
Step 5. Find And Disable/enable Messenger
Now scroll down until you find Messenger. Once you find it, click Disable. To turn it back on, just click “Enable” or click “Remove” if you NEVER want it to appear.
Step 6. Done!

The easiest way is to go to the “Tools” menu (if you don’t see the toolbar, just press any Alt key) and select “Options”On the left side of the window, select Connect. In the General section, uncheck “Start Messenger when I log in” and click OK.
If this method does not work for you, you can disable it again in the list of programs to start.
Disable Messenger – For Now
Perhaps your company just wants to take a break from Messenger and turn it off entirely for a while. You thought you canceled the app by clicking our own little red X at the top of each of our corners, but then all of a sudden you got a great message notification or noticed that there are still some things in your adventure bar. To completely disable Windows Live Messenger without making any changes to the program, go to the “File” menu in the toolbar and select “Exit Messenger” as a result. You can also click on the arrow next to your favorite name and select Log Out of Messenger.
